BOARDING
Broodmares:
- Our broodmares enjoy spacious pastures and compatible groupings
- An “under lights” program prepares maiden and barren mares for early breeding
- Large foaling stalls are equipped with video cameras for monitoring
- Experienced foaling personnel and night watchmen keep a close watch on your horses
- Photos of new foals are sent to owners
- Shortly, we will be able to stream live video to you through the internet so you can view your horses
Weanlings and Yearlings:
- Large, gently rolling pastures encourage healthy growth and exercise
- Individual feeding programs ensure each horse receives the best diet for its particular needs
- Legs and hooves are checked daily to prevent problems
- Programmed exercise in our European free-movement exerciser promotes healthy growth and muscle development
- Hand walking and training accustom young horses to being handled and easily loaded on vans
- Monthly photos and growth charts are sent to clients
LAY-UPS
- Our attending veterinarian, Dr. George Mundy, keeps a careful eye on the daily progress and condition of each horse
- Our trained personnel carefully follow post surgical instructions of specialized vets at Haggard Davidson McGee and Rood + Riddle Equine hospitals
- Our “open-air” stalls are ideal for horses who need confinement, yet enjoy fresh air and being near and seeing other horses in the fields
- Round pens or small individual paddocks, are available as required
SALES PREP
We have sales prepped horses for some of the most prestigious consignors in Kentucky , including Taylor Made, Gainsborough, Hill ‘n' Dale Farms and Narvick International.
Our experienced team will give your horse an excellent opportunity to bring top price at the sales. Each horse receives an individual feed program formulated for their specific needs. Our sales prep grooms meticulously care for just a few horses each, hand walking and training them daily, brushing their coats to shining glory and accompanying them back and forth to the exerciser. They take great pride in their charges and eagerly watch their results in the sales ring. Our fees are reasonable; our preparation suberb.
