Large Pastures
Valley View Farm features large pastures of rich green, gently rolling land with excellent horse soils. The fields are tested twice yearly to assure proper nutrients and then weeded, seeded or treated, as necessary, to maintain their excellent condition. The 200 acre farm includes ten large pastures to encourage healthy growth and exercise of horses in compatible groupings. Numerous smaller paddocks accommodate individual colts, newborn foals and their dams, outdoor lay-ups and horses with special needs.

Well-Ventilated Barns
Currently the farm has thirty horse-friendly stalls in three well-ventilated barns, plus eight specially constructed semi-outdoor stalls. These open stalls are favorites with horses who do not like the confines of a traditional barn, yet need to be kept confined. Here, they can see other horses in the field and enjoy the open air while recuperating. Hay and straw are stored in a separate large building, thereby reducing dust and promoting a cleaner air environment.
