Farm Manager
Richard H. Nolen brings more than 25 years of dedicated experience as a horseman to his position at Valley View Farm. He is highly skilled in the care of broodmares and foals, having served as Assistant Broodmare Manager at Overbrook Farm and Broodmare Manager for Eaton Farms where he supervised all stages in a mare's lifecycle from daily veterinary work, stallion bookings, teasing and foaling to follow-up foal development.
Richard's expertise extends to astute yearling assessment and skilled sales preparation of young horses. His wide-range of knowledge includes expert pasture management, grounds supervision, and hay and feed selection and distribution to assure each horse has its specific needs met. One of his greatest strengths is excellent communication with his staff as well as our boarding clients.
Farm Consultant and Supervising Veterinarian
We are very fortunate to have George D. Mundy, DVM, as our Farm Consultant and Supervising Veterinarian. Extremely well respected in the horse industry, Dr. Mundy has served as chief veterinarian for the Kentucky Racing Commission and veterinary consultant to the Breeders' Cup Limited and Triple Crown. He has received numerous grants to research race horse injuries and horse health issues. Prior to working with Valley View Farm, Dr. Mundy was General Manager of Hill ‘n' Dale Farms where he supervised the daily care and maintenance of all horses as well as the farm's large staff, in addition to his administrative responsibilities. He has recently accepted a position at Adena Springs as the prestigious farm's General Manager, but continues to provide his expertise, consulting and veterinary advice to Valley View Farm.

On-Site Personnel
The Farm Manager, Assistant Farm Manager and a number of our employees live on the farm, providing round-the-clock security and immediate attention to any situation that may arise. Most importantly, this provides us and our clients with peace of mind that the horses are well cared for and as safe as possible at all times.
